Chapter 1

THE LOQUACIOUS AAFAT
The First Voluble Disaster!

 CHAPTER 1

Once upon a time in a small town of Meghalaya - Shillong (now known as a famous Hill Station) a young lad fell in love with a beautiful girl. As it wasn’t Love Aaj Kal and the love story took place in some 80’s they soon turned from lovers to happily ever after.
After their marriage they were blessed with a son but probably the young lad wasn’t that blissed so they planned their second child and it was exactly what they wanted– A baby Girl
Just like the young lad everyone in the house expected the new born girl to be delicate and adorable with a lot of tantrums like a Princess and so they even named her “Sarah” (Princess)
When Sarah was 3, her mother would dress her up in beautiful frocks with pretty shoes along with those cute little fountain pony tail. Being the first daughter in the house she was pampered by everyone in the family. As a child Sarah would always play with cars and Lego (her favorite) unlike other girls who would play with dolls.
Soon she turned 5 and started with her schooling. In school, where every other girl would play Kho-Kho, she would find her interest in Football. She would scrap her knees several times while playing such sports but such pain just made her more and more strong. Her wardrobe started changing from those beautiful frocks to Jerseys, Polo's and shorts.
She became the talk of the town not because of any special features but her voluble nature. She would talk to anyone and everyone and yes she can talk to herself too (The Chatterbox). Couple of times her Class Teacher tried sealing her lips with the cello-tape but nothing could stop her after all she was a Pahadi. What could scare a Pahadi?
She was like a Ghat full of adventure and restlessness.
